AAHOA applauded Congress for reauthorizing Brand USA, a unique public-private partnership promoting the United States as a destination for foreign travelers at zero cost to taxpayers.

The travel and tourism industry’s continued vitality is essential to the growth and sustainability of AAHOA’s members as well as American communities and businesses. Brand USA strengthens the hotel industry by encouraging millions of international visitors to come to the United States.

 

Without Brand USA promotion, in 2016 alone, international visitation would decrease by 1.2 million visitors and their spending would decrease by $4.2 million
